Creative suitcase for children and adult crafters

Designed by Karina Schaapman, the creator of the children's books Mouse Mansion, this creative suitcase invites children (4+) to build and decorate their own miniature room.

The suitcase is printed with wallpaper and flooring, ready to be transformed. Children aged 8-10 years old can simply assemble the wooden furniture pieces and paint them in their favourite colours. Kids aged 4 to 8 will require supervision. Once dry, they can add the handcrafted mattress, blanket, and pillow to complete the bed, and finish the room with the included mini teddy bear. With the sticker sheet included in the set, they will be able to decorate the walls and paper elements to create charming paper accessories such as lampshades, plants and storage boxes.

This versatile suitcase works beautifully both as a decorative piece displayed on a shelf and as a toy for imaginative play. Our tip for family time: while your child assembles and decorates the house, you can sew one of the felt toys from our craft collection by Corinne Lapierre. When you’re finished, you can play together and enjoy the results.
