Creative suitcase for children and adult crafters

Designed by Karina Schaapman, the creator of the children’s books Mouse Mansion, this creative suitcase invites children (4+) to build and decorate their own miniature ballet room.

The suitcase comes printed with walls and flooring, ready to be transformed into a charming dance studio. Children can assemble the wooden furniture pieces and decorate the space using the included decoration and sticker sheets (kids aged 4 to 8 will require supervision). Once the room is set, they can add the mattress, pillow and blanket to create a cosy resting corner, and use the mini tea set for imaginative play after dance practice.

This versatile suitcase works beautifully both as a decorative piece displayed on a shelf and as a toy for creative, open-ended play. It can also serve as a perfect ballet studio for the Little Mouse “The Ballet Dancer” from our felt-craft collection, where she can practice her skills. The suitcase encourages role play, fine motor skills, and offers a calm, hands-on activity — a lovely idea for shared family craft time.
